Ponthafren Association is pleased to announce that we will be a distribution point for Feminine Hygiene products provided by Montgomeryshire Family Crisis Centre in partnership with Powys County Council

Women on low incomes across the UK are increasingly having to choose between buying sanitary products or buying food. There is an increase in “hygiene poverty” across the UK, which is leading to a growing number of women being unable to afford personal hygiene items.

A poll carried out by In Kind Direct found that more than a third of people had gone without hygiene or grooming products, or cut down on them, owing to low finances.

Feminine hygeine products, including pads and tampons will be available to anyone at our centres. Ponthafren Association is proud to aid in the fight against Feminine Hygiene Poverty.
