Newtown Knit and Natterers Donate to Ponthafren

When Newtown's Knit and Natter group met for the first time since before the pandemic they presented cheques worth £1,900 to charity. The group met in the Park in May and raised £51 during their knitting and catch up session.

Paula Roberts of the group, said that the group presented cheques worth £200 to Ponthafren, £200 to Clic Sargent and £1,500 to Cancer Research UK.

The £51 raised on the day is going towards Philippa Owen's charity walk in aid of the Alzheimer's Society.
