What is Health and Well-being?
Health and well-being is the result of a combination of physical, social, intellectual and emotional factors. The best way to stay healthy - physically and mentally - is by learning how to take care of yourself, and about the support you can get to help with any health problem you might already have.

We strive to promote health and well-being in all our activities and courses, promoting a positive atmosphere for people to learn how to better their mental and physical health. 

Both our Welshpool and Newtown Centres follow the Powys ‘Five Ways to Wellbeing’ system of: connect, be active, take notice, keep learning and be creative & give. These are the wellbeing equivalent of ‘five fruit and vegetables a day’.

Sometimes it's difficult to find the motivation, the time and the energy to make a few changes in our lives. We're all human! However a bit of effort can pay off in many ways.
