Ponthafren chosen as one of Tesco Welshpool Community Grants

Ponthafren has been chosen as one of the charities supported by Tesco Welshpool via their Tesco Community Grants scheme.

So if you shop at Tesco in Welshpool can you vote for Ponthafren by popping your blue tokens in our box. Our nomination runs from the 1st October to the 31st December so make sure you get your blue tokens every time you shop!

The funding received will be used to support our COVID response counselling. COVID has had a massive impact on mental health services and Ponthafren has continued to offer our Counselling services throughout the pandemic. We've seen an increase in those reaching out to our services as lockdowns come to an end and society move back to normalcy.

Tesco Community Grants support thousands of local community projects and good causes across the UK. The scheme is open to all registered charities and not-for-profit organisations.

Ponthafren would like to thank Tesco Welshpool for thinking of us and a big thank you to everyone who always support us. Every penny really does count and is put to good use.
