We are delighted to announce that we are 2023 Weston Charity Awards winners!
The impact of our current services and future ambitions have been recognised with our selection for the awards from 100s of applicants. The award allows us to invest in the organisation's future with ten months of strategic planning support from a dedicated team of four business experts, thanks to Pilotlight and a core grant from the Garfield Weston Foundation.
In receipt of the award, Jamie Burt, Ponthafren’s Director, said:
"I am incredibly proud of the work Ponthafren continues to deliver within our communities and am thrilled that we are recipients of this year's Weston Charity Awards. The award allows us to look towards our strategic future, build upon my vision for Ponthafren and ultimately help in our mission to best serve those who need our services and be able to offer preventative mental health and wellbeing support to all."
In congratulating Ponthafren, Philippa Charles, Director of the Garfield Weston Foundation, said:
"Our Trustees are delighted to be able to support a record number of charities this year through the Weston Charity Awards. The Awards underscore the Foundation's passion for nurturing and empowering charities to thrive and support those who need it most."
